For a more affordable golf experience, tee off at Desert Pines Golf Club where rates start $35 and you will experience beautiful pine trees, imported white sand, and amazing water features. Another affordable option is the Black Mountain Golf and Country Club where you will have the opportunity to take on the challenge of the course's 9 holes of true desert golfing.
Grand Canyon
Simply put, in order to get an entire Las Vegas experience you absolutely have to take a helicopter ride to the Grand Canyon. Comprising of over 1.2 million acres of land the Grand Canyon is over a mile in depth. Most companies offer helicopter tours of the Grand Canyon include breakfast or lunch near the bottom of the canyon. Don't forget to tip your helicopter pilot for their services.
Lake Fun
Take a hiatus from the hustle of Las Vegas and set off for a day of fun at Lake Mead. Just 30 miles from Las Vegas in the city of Boulder, NV, Lake Mead is the 16th largest man made lake and perfect for all types of outdoor activities. Rent a jet ski or boat and set off toward the center of the lake, or spend your day relaxing while kayaking or fishing. Ceaser's Palace, Bally's Las Vegas, and MGM Grand all have pools that are heated between 75 and 80 degrees all year round.

Gondola Rides at the Venetian
