Bigfork, Mt. On Beautiful Flathead Lake is a summertime hotspot, a bustling center of activity - fishing, boating, basically just relaxing and enjoying.
The Swan River Cafe has just built a roof-top garden bar which is great for a sunset drink overlooking the lake.
Make sure to try a home-made cookie from Brookie's Cookies.
Also, its worthwhile to drive to near-by Swan Lake, to have breakfast at the Laughing Horse Lodge, Kathleen is a great hostess and an incredible cook.
In winter this little town is pretty sleepy, except for at Christmas time when the entire village lights up with an incredible display of Christmas lights, for sure a sight to see!
