Practical Information

Many people who visit Kansas City would agree that people are very friendly.  We're one of those city's that when you're riding on the bus a complete stranger will say hello to you.  Or if you need directions, you can ask anyone with out them ignoring you.  Although the people have small town values, Kansas City is rather big which people often don't seem to realize.  In fact, I was looking at the state map and Kansas City does in fact have a greater population than St. Louis, as well as a larger metro area.  Traffic is generally pretty good, typical rush hours, nothing like Minneapolis, unless you are headed to a Chiefs game, than you can expect some stop and go traffic.  It doesn't smell like NYC.  Doesn't have the pollution of L.A.  No bad windstorms.  And we even have a revolving restaurant if you can't get to Seattle, just go to the Hyatt downtown.  We do have McDonald's, and we don't wear farming clothes.  I absolutely love living here, I wouldn't leave for the world!
