Hanibal, Missouri Travel Guide

Hannibal, is a wonderfully quaint town located about 1 1/2 hours north of St. Louis on Missouri Hwy 79. The home of Mark Twain; the area has the Tom Sawyer house and caves as well as numerous festivals throughout the year. These festivals generally celebrate "old time" Missouri with arts and crafts shows, street entertainers and a wholesome family atmosphere. Beautiful scenery with rolling hills and located right on the Mississippi River.
