Southaven is located in the DeSoto County, at the "Top of Mississippi" bordering Memphis, Tennessee, and less than a half-hour drive to the casinos in Tunica County, Mississippi. According to the Southaven Chamber of Commerce, the city's current population is just above 30,000. It's location is ideal for those who are visiting Graceland and Memphis but wish to stay and rest outside of the downtown noise.
