Northampton Travel Guide

Much of Northampton's charm lies in its many attractive and architecturally distinctive buildings. Colonial-era buildings survive along the early roads of the city, including South Street, Elm Street, and Bridge Street.  It is a college town in Western Massachusetts, surrounded by some of the state's most prestigious colleges.  Downtown Northampton is a local art mecca.  Shops there sell everything from candles and belly dancing garb to modern art and body piercing.
