Tilghman Islandis situated geographically in the mid Chesapeake Bay Region, minutes from historic St. Michaels, Oxford and Easton. The Island is close to Maryland and Delaware Beach resorts, and a leisurely drive from many major cities such as Washington, D.C., Baltimore and Philadelphia.
Tilghman Island is a true working watermen's village with excellent fishing and fresh seafood. It's also home to the last commercial sailing fleet in North America, the skipjacks, which are on display at Dogwood Harbor.
