communities in America. Take a stroll down historic Massachusetts (the

antiques shops, boutiques, quirky coffee shops and sidewalk cafes as
the sounds of a street musician or local jazz house filter down the
street.
Lawrence is also home to the University of Kansas. The Jayhawks compete in the Big 12 conference of collegiate sports. Known as a perennial powerhouse in basketball, Kansas has housed many greats coaches including Phog Allen, Roy Williams (now at UNC) and Bill Self. Jayhawk fans are some of the most loyal in all of college sports and can be seens "waving the wheat" all across the country.
