Things to do

There is a lot of things to do in Arkansas City, Kansas (pronounced Rkansas City). Like any town you can shop, go to a movie, fish in two rivers within the city limits, attend rodeos, swim at the pool, play tennis at numerous courts, basketball at all the schools and most churches grounds, visit 10 different park playgrounds, bowling, hiking, biking trails, softball complexes, attend basketball at the high school or community college, visit the library, visit the Cherokee strip museum, go out to the state lake, climb the sand hills, visit the hidden cave NE of town (bet you younguns never heard of that, visit the old water dam, attend the many parades throughout the year, try to follow the old trolley car routes, look for indian arrowheads, dig for clams on grouse creek and the walnut rivers, play pool and games at Sally's Place,trade comic books with friends, hand out at the fast food places, drag main, vist the car shows, go skating, hold bike races in your neighborhood, flirt w the girls outside the shows, and just simply get off your lazy asses and MAKE fun for yourselves, cause every town is considered boring by its own youths especially those of the computer age intellingence limited action games formated for those without their own imaginations...yea gads to think is only to turn on the computer ...to go outside and really play w OTHERS scary to the youth of today's butterball butts from mother McDonald's food club for fat, lazy, musicless youth who are bored with THEMSELVES....
