There is not too much to the town nowadays, Population of about 400. It is a mere shadow of its former glory days during the WWII era. At one time the village hosted a gas station, several stores, twelve grade school, a hotel and restaurant even a dance hall. A water generated power plant served the surrounding community and the river was used as means of transportation of goods.
Nowadays, this sleepy town's only industry is tourism. The fishing and site-seeing are great and the town host one of the few remaining intact cover bridges. There is a state park for camping, a restaurant and a bait and tackle shop that is also a museum.
