Evansville is the third most populated city in the state of Indiana (pop. 121, 582). It's also the center for business, entertainement, and the arts in the southwestern part of the state. Settled in 1812, it was incorporated as a city in 1847 and is the county seat of Vanderburgh County.
Casino Aztar, the first riverboat casino in the state, is located in downtown Evansville. The city is also home to the University of Evansville and the University of Southern Indiana.
