Leonard's Bakery

One word, Malasadas. If you know what they are, there is no explanation needed. If you don't, you need to get to Leonard's now. Go in the morning, grab a cup of coffee, and prepare to stand in a short line. Ask for a half dozen original malasadas. Enjoy.

I took my wife there from Los Angeles this year. I grew up in the islands and this is one of my fondest memories. She said, "It's a donut". But, it's more than that.
