Wet and Wild

Wet and Wild in Orlando, Florida is acknowledged by Aquatics International as the first true water park. This place is an absolute blast especially during off season when lines are short. There are thirty acres of fun water rides of all intensities. These people take water thrill rides seriously. Prepare to be scared by 76 feet tall, virtually vertical drops, a cyclone simulation and a six story speed slide. Their website refers to these rides as “mind blowing”.

Everglades National Forest

Orlando has more to offer than just theme parks. The natural setting of the Everglades National Forest is a great place to unwind and take a deep breath. Get away from the long lines and crowds. Kennedy Space Center

The Kennedy Space Center was built in 1962 and renamed in 1963 to honor the president who helped put the first man on the moon. This is where all the United States Spacecrafts are launched into space.

Things to Do

Kennedy Space Center is located in Orlando and is a great place to visit while in the area. Gatorland started out as one of those little roadside attractions in 1949 on the side of a road in Florida. Today it is a 110 acre theme park known as the Alligator Capital of the World.


Gatorland is located between Orlando and Kissimmee on Orange Blossom Trail and boasts being one of central Florida's oldest attractions. It was founded by Owen Godwin and is still a family owned enterprise today. Access Gatorland from Highway 441, only 20 minutes away from Disneyworld. It is open every day from 9 am to 6 pm.
