The eagle airport is located approx. 35 minutes east of Vail.  It is served during the ski season by American Airlines, US Air, Continintal, Northwest, Delta, and United.

Ground transportation from the Eagle County Airport to the city of Vail is found in the from of taxis, rental cars, shared shuttle service, and public bus.

To get to Vail from Denver simply get on Interstate 70 heading West.  If you are looking for a shuttle service from the Denver Airport Colorado Mountain Express has vans leaving every hour to Vail, cost $66 (2 1/2 hours).
