Fort Collins Travel Guide
Edit This The best resource for sights, hotels, restaurants, bars, what to do and seeFort Collins, Colorado is located about 40 miles south of Cheyenne, Wyoming and 60 miles north of Denver. It is the home of Colorado State University, and so reflects a mixture of college town ambiance and western ranching heritage. The southern parts of town are relatively new and predictably suburban. The charm and character of the town lies in the Old Town area, just north of the University. Here there is a pedestrian shopping area, restaurants, bars and live entertainment venues. The tree-lined streets surrounding Old Town provide a pleasant area for a stroll.
