Brentwood

Edit This
Brentwood, an hour’s drive East of San Francisco, is one of several towns located on the morning side of Mt. Diablo just below scenic rolling hills in the Central Valley . This area is a viable agricultural area, due to its unique micro climate, amidst new affordable homes and major shopping areas. Known nationally for its Brentwood Sweet Corn, the area is also well-known for its Harvest Time farm trail with over 30 farms and ranches offering the visitor a unique U-Pick experience of apricots, peaches, pears, nectarines, cherries and other equally delicious and fresh fruits, vegetables and agricultural products. A revitalized and picturesque Old Downtown offers lots of quaint boutiques and dining opportunities. Brentwood is also home to the annual family-friendly Cornfest each July after Independence Day, celebrating the corn harvest and offers product and food vendors from all over the state. A farm trail map is produced annually by the Non-Profit group Harvest Time to direct you to the farms.
