Our residents speak more than 52 different languages (San Jose Unified School District 2002). Japantown is a popular tourist stop and a corner-stone neighborhood full of tradition. San Jose Japantown is one of only three remaining Japantowns in America, Biblioteca-Latino Americana, one of the City's innovative library branches, boasts one of the largest collections of Spanish language materials in Northern California. San Jose's Public Art program is the largest of its kind.
