Redondo Beach Travel Guide

Redondo Beach is in the South Bay Region of Los Angeles.  Redondo's King Harbor is a huge marina with restaurants, ocean sports, fishing and an enormous pier that features shops, food, and a large amusement arcade.  King Harbor is a favorite for both tourists and locals.

The famous Strand starts just North of the Harbor.  On summer days and weekends, the Strand is beach life in action, with some of the best people watching in the world.  The paved pathway through the sand comes to life with roller bladers, volley ball players, runners, sun bathers, pets, and those merely on a stroll-- this is the Southern California of TV shows and beer commercials.  The beach is wide and nice, as is a large stretch of beach just South of the Harbor.
