The San Bernardino County Museum, in Redlands, California, is a regional museum with exhibits and collections in cultural and natural history. Special exhibits, the Exploration Station live animal discovery center, extensive research collections, and public programs for adults, families, students, and children are all part of the museum experience.

Days/Hours of operation:CLOSED Mondays and Sundays. Tuesday to Friday: 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM. Saturday: 11:00 am- 4:00PM. General Admission: $5.00. Children under 3 yrs old: FREE. Seniors: $3.75

This is an interactive museum  (hands-on museum). There is a toddlers' area with plenty of toys for children to play with or interact with other children. The area houses a small screen TV for young children to listen and/or watch interactive videos. There is a large selection of fun and educational tapes. San Bernardino Route 66 Museum

Located on the site of the original McDonald's brothers hamburger restaurant. Long denied by Ray Kroc after he convinced the brothers to franchise the restaurant. At the time they had 4 restaurant locations. The museum is the project of Albert Okura, the entrepreneur behind the growing Juan Pollo restaurant chain primarily found in the Inland Empire. Admission is free.
