Grass Valley is a Gold Rush era Town famous for its bountiful gold quartz ore buried deep within the hard rock below the town. Visitors can view a diorama of the tunnels below the city, which will show that the charming Del Oro movie theatre sits above a gallery of mine tunnels, as does most of the town.
