Edit ThisBlack's Beach in La Jolla is perhaps California's best beach break wave. It carries size, shape and speed like few others. When it's head-high or higher, be careful unless you are an experienced surfer. Depending on the conditions and swell direction, Black's produces plenty of rights, lefts and A-frame sets.
