Sedona Travel Guide

Sedona was voted "The Most Beautiful Place in America" by USA's Weekend's Annual Travel Report. Sedona is situated in a unique geological area, it is surrounded by red-rock monoliths, and is close to Oak Creek Canyon.

Towering above Sedona is Mogollon Rim, which constitutes the southwestern boundary of the vast Colorado Plateau, is home to the largest contiguous stand of ponderosa pine in the world. The plateau extends into parts of five other states.

Also close by is the Coconino National Forest, which encompasses seven wilderness areas.
