Hotels and Accommodations in Petersburg

Due to the size of Petersburg it is best to arrange lodging arrangements before arriving. A few Bed and Breakfasts and two hotels provide lodging for mainstream visitors.

For the back packing crowd the city operates a Tent City near the airport which is about 1 mile from town. However, in summer cannery workers use the tent city as cheap housing (thus the city in the name) so visitors may not be able to find a spot. Also be prepared to be in close proximity to many other people who may be celebrating getting done with an 18 hour work day.
