Nightlife and Entertainment
Edit This2435 Spenard Road

Description:
Chilkoot Charlie's has been Alaska's most famous nightspot for decades. After an evening here, you'll understand why. Though it's expanded and become a bit mainstream, the rustic (dingy?) bare wood, keg bar-stools, and sawdust maintain its Alaskan flavor.

Mad Myrna's is the gay nightclub in Anchorage, but straight folks are warmly welcome. This is a fun club with the expected '70s and '80s pop music. Many nights are "themed" and they often have special events. Unfortunately, Alaska is generally a homophobic place but this a fun safe haven.
