Museums

There are a number of museums here, focussing on the alcoholic beverage. The town Tequila Museum gives a general overview of Tequila, and displays the variety of Tequilas available.

At Cuervo World, you can visit the distillery and taste various tequilas (Jose Cuervo, 1800 and Gran Centenario) under the Jose Cuevo umbrella. Depending on the amount you pay, you get to taste better tequilas. You can even visit the Hacienda on site. Also available in town is a visit to other distilleries like that of Sauza. Note that Casa Herradura's (maker of Casa Herradura and El Jimador brands) base for visitors is at Amatitan, not Tequila.
