Just north of Puerto Vallarta is a small town named Bucerias. In this town we had a most amazing meal and experience. The restaurant of Miquel Angels is a rare gem, with the owner Miquel as your host, and his wife in the kitchen we experienced a meal of a lifetime.
The seafood platter with fresh lobster, jumbo prawns garlic shrimp and wood roasted red snapper was exquisite. We highly recommend a stop at Miquel Angels and say hi to Lala.

Le Kliff advertises itself as the "most beautiful restaurant in Mexico"
- and it just might be. Built on a sea cliff overlooking the Pacific,
the restaurant is made up of a series of palapas linked by winding
staircases. The tables line each palapa and many have a 180 degree or
wider view of the ocean and nearby coast.
Most places with views like this have disappointing food, the thought being that you're really just there for the view - but Le Kliff has some wonderful, inventive dishes. We enjoyed fire-roasted lobster and wonderful ceviche on our last visit, as well as more..
If you spend one evening outside of Puerto Vallarta while visiting Banderas Bay, make it a point to have dinner chez Margarita and Gilles Le Fort.
The show begins at 8 p.m. with you and a few select others sitting at the counter around M. Le Fort's kitchen sipping kir royale and eating housemade paté. You have a sheet of recipes for the evening's meal to reference as Gilles begins to work his magic.
After preparing the three courses for the evening, you'll adjourn to the dining room to taste the creations. The Le Forts pour two more kinds of wine selected to more..
