Puerto Penasco, Sonora, Mexico AKA Arizona's Beach is a four hour drive from Tucson or Phoenix. Located on the Sea of Cortez (AKA Gulf of California), this resort destination is exploding with high rise codos on the formerly pristine Sandy Beach. The shrimping is declining due to lack of conservation, like many areas in the world. But, hey, you can't stop progress.
