Getting There

Getting to Cancun is pretty easy as most major airlines flight directly into Cancun’s International Airport. Some of the airlines traveling to Cancun are United Airlines, Iberia, Mexicana, Air Canada, American Airlines, Air France and US Airways. Cancun’s International Airport handles the second largest volume of passengers in Mexico, just after Mexico City’s International Airport. It is a pretty modern and safe airport.

 Getting Around

After you check-in in your hotel, it will be time to go out and start touring the city. Using the bus system in Cancun is the cheapest and best way to get around and you can practically reach every beach or sight from the Hotel Zone to Cancun’s You can go downtown, Puerto Juarez or to the famous Plaza Las Americas for just about $7 pesos. You can also travel by bus to other cities within Mexico such as Tulum or Méridia. If you want to spend a day or 2 in the nearby Isla Mujeres, you can take a ferry for around $4.00 USD and the travel time varies from 15 to 30 minutes. Ferries offer services everyday from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and leave from Puerto Juarez.
