Restaurant L'Ardoise
Edit ThisOne word sums it up: Excellent!
There is a menu here, but the specialty is mussels. My significant other and I visited in April 2006 and both ordered the all-you-can-eat mussels. Mussels are a favorite of mine and I have had them prepared many different ways. These were safely the most delicious I have had. There are about a dozen different sauces to choose from. The four we tried were all fantastic, due in part to the chef's creativity and care and also the superb quality of the starting ingredients. Friendly service in a more..

Le Continental
Edit ThisOutstanding restaurant in every way. The decor is elegant but not "posh". Service is up to par.
The Chateaubriand for two is superb. Carved tableside and served with your choice of sauce (Bearnaise!) and cooked to perfection.
Of course the French onion soup was a rich delight, as were the desserts.
Being just a short walk from The Chateau Frontenac makes Le Continental a destination.
