Charlottetown's airport is located only 5 minutes from the centre of the city, and is served with scheduled service by Air Canada (and the regional Air Canada Jazz) and JetsGo, and chartered service by Prince Edward Air. There are are general aviation facilities.

By Road

Charlottetown is near the geographical centre of Prince Edward Island, almost equidistant (about an hour's drive) from the Confederation Bridge (from New Brunswick) and the Northumberland Ferries terminal at Wood Islands (with seasonal ferries to Nova Scotia).
