Cobourg with a population of 18,500 is a town located in southern Ontario 95 km east of Toronto. It is located along Highway #401(exits 472 and 474) and the former Highway #2 (now Northumberland County Road 2). To the south Cobourg borders Lake Ontario, while to the north, east and west, it is surrounded by Hamilton Township.

Many events like the Sandcastle Festival, Waterfront Festival, Cobourg Highland Games and Ribfest make Cobourg an exciting and fun place to visit.

For accomodations the Victoria Trailer Park and Campground is located downtown adjacent to the sandy beach, but it is virtually filled for the entire season as it is too popular!
