When to Go in Halifax

Edit This
Halifax is a city with a lot of history and excellent views of the ocean and no matter when you go you will have to make sure you soak up all this city has to offer. From a native's point of view though, July is the absolute best time of the year to make the trip north.

Summer Months: July is Prime Time

In a city with average daily high temperature ranging anywhere from 0 C to 23 C, Halifax is actually milder than you might expect due to its proximity to the Atlantic Ocean. Although there is less sunshine in Halifax than in other Canadian cities the summers are pleasantly warm. Halifax has on average one hundred days of mist or fog per year!
