The Rare Bird Pub & Eatery is a brew pub and restaurant on Guysborough Harbour, where the Marina is located.  The Rare Bird has a large patio looking out over the Harbour.  Inside the pub is spacious and has a stage for weekly Ceilidhs on Wednesdays and live East Coast music on weekends.  Upstairs is a pool table and dart board.

The DesBarres Manor Inn dining room offers contemporary Canadian cuisine with an East Coast flair and an extensive international wine list.

Located in an historic (1837) luxury inn, the dining room is intimate and features the Manor's orignal hearth for fireside dining.  In summer, french doors open to a grand deck overlooking the DesBarres Manor's six acres of landscaped grounds.
