The covered bridge located in the Town of Hartland is the longest covered bridge in the world with a length of 1,282 feet. It was built in 1901.

Fundy National Park

Fundy National Park preserves the last remaining wilderness in southern New Brunswick. A special feature of the park is the Bay of Fundy - where the tidal fluctuations are the world's highest (up to 12 metres difference between low and high tide). Kouchibouguac National Park preserves a region containing coastal barrier islands, beaches, sand dunes, rivers, forests and fields. Portions of the park may be closed to visitors in the spring and summer to protect areas used by the endangered piping plover.
