Campobello Island Travel Guide

Campobello Island is the site of former USA President Franklin D. Roosevelt's summer cottage. His cottage has been turned into an International Park whereby it is a Park for both the USA and Canada (the only such Park in the world). It is located in Canada but is funded by both the American and Canadian governments.

It was at this summer cottage that F. D. Roosevelt contacted polio.

To reach this Canadian island by car, the only access is via a bridge from the state of Maine which connects to Campobello Island.
