The Cambie

The Cambie is one of Vancouvers oldest pubs which can be found in Historic Gastown. It attracts a regular ecclectic crowd of Vancouverites and is lacking in pretention. You'll be hard pushed to find a cheaper pitcher of beer in Vancouver which you can guzzle in their main room, smoking room - very popular - or their beer garden. Be warned though, that no matter what age you are, they will want to see your ID, and you should get down before 9pm on a Friday or Saturday to avoid the line-up. This is one of the best pubs in the city where you can meet all sorts of local characters.
