Bow River Fishing

Edit This

Birthed in the heart of the Canadian Rockies, the Bow River east of Banff touts some of the best fly fishing waters in the world.  This pristine, sparkling river meanders through the foothills, into Calgary, and out onto the short grass prairie of southeastern Alberta.  Fly fishing is very popular here, but people also fish using traditional methods, both in the river and the many ponds and reservoirs that the Bow feeds.  Calgary has many outfitters that would be happy to supply you with the necessary equipment and also accompany you on fishing excursions, if that more..
