Jasper Tramway .

Located 10 minutes from the town of Jasper, the Tramway is Canada's longest aerial tram operation. The upper terminal at 2,500 metres (8,200 ft) offers spectacular view of the surrounding area. A one-way trip in the 30 passenger cabin takes 7 minutes. Cafeteria, dining room, lounge and gift shops are offered. Miette Hot Springs .

- Run by the Canadian Parks Service, the complex consists of two outdoor bathing pools - one deep and one shallow - fed by hot sulphur springwater chlorinated and cooled to approximately 40 degrees Celsius (104 degrees F). Spirit Island

Spirit Island is only accessible by boat from the shore of Maligne Lake. Tickets for a guided boat tour can be purchased at $35 CAD in advance from the ticket office in Jasper town centre or bought at Maligne Lake itself. The boat trip is a 90 minute round-trip, with a 10 minute stop off at Spirit Island.

Spirit Island is the subject of reputedly one of the most famous photographs in the world. An amateur photographer took a photo of this island and entered it into a Kodak photography competition, winning first prize of having his photo enlarged to billboard size and more..

Athabasca Falls .

Columbia Icefield .

This massive field of ancient ice covers 325 sq km (125 sq mi) and reaches depths estimated at 385 m (1,270 ft). It is composed of the Athabasca, Stutfield and Dome glaciers. Straddling the Continental Divide, the icefield feeds four of the continent’s major river systems: the Columbia, Fraser, Mackenzie and Saskatchewan. Meltwaters from the icefield flow to three different oceans (the Pacific, Arctic and Atlantic). Called a ‘hydrological apex,’ it is one of only two in the world (the other is in Siberia). Tangle Falls .

Medicine Lake .

Maligne Lake .

Maligne Lake offers one of the largest attractions in Jasper National Park. Visitors can choose from scenic cruises to world-famous Spirit Island, white water rafting, horsebackriding, guided trout fishing, hiking, canoe renting and shopping. Mount Edith Cavell .

Punchbowl Falls .

Stutfield Glacier .

From this point, view the Sunwapta River, an excellent example of a braided river. The valley bottom is filled with sand and gravel spreading the river across the valley floor in interlacing channels. Sunwapta Falls .
