Bruderheim

Bruderheim means “home of the brethren” and was named by German Moravian settlers in 1894. The Moravian Church built in 1895, commemorates the first Protestant congregation in Western Canada and is still used., 796-3775. Skaro Shrine, 22 km(13.75 mi) northeast of town on Hwy 45, is made of local fieldstone and is the object of an annual pilgrimage in mid-Aug by descendants of Ukrainian pioneers.
