Opened by Queen Elizabeth II in 1990, this is the largest military museum in Western Canada. Indoor exhibitions depict the history of the Lord Strathcona’s Horse (Royal Canadians), the Calgary Highlanders, the Princess Patricia’s Canadian Light Infantry and the King’s Own Calgary Regiment. Outside, view vintage tanks and carriers. To Mar 31 Memento Mori Drawings depicting Canada’s merchant navy and Royal Canadian Navy by Canadian artist Jack Nichols. Daily 10 am - 4 pm, closed Wed.
