Internet Cafes in Galapagos islands

Sharknet

There is an internet cafe called the Sharknet across the street from the TAME office on San Cristobal, and there is a computer lab at the GAIAS.  It's all dial-up based on a server in mainland Ecuador.  I don't know if the other islands have internet service.

SANTA CRUZ island...in Puerto Ayora there are many internet places.  Prices for July 2007 were running about US$2.00 per hour.  It was by satellite, so a lot faster than dial up (for uploading pictures was allright)  but not as fast as full broadband or fiber optic more..
