Nightlife in Las Vegas ranges from family friendly to wild and crazy. Fortunately for everyone involved, this city contains more excitement for both groups of people than you can pack into a week long vacation. There is absolutely too much to choose from, but hopefully the ideas below will help you narrow your search.

Family Shows
For entertainment that will knock the socks off of everyone in the family grab tickets to the Blue Man Group, which performs a combination of comedy, music and talen while being covered from head to toe in the color blue. "Mystere" is one of Cirque du Soleil's many shows and is located at the Treasure Island hotel. A combination of acrobatics, athleticism, imagery, and humor, "Mystere" is entertaining for all ages, and after the show you can catch the Treasure Island Pirate Show! Comedy
Penn and Teller's comedic magic tricks are definitely a favorite among many tourists and locals alike.Tickets start around $85 dollars and go up from there, but the show is worth the investment. Terry Fator and his talking puppets are another great way to make you laugh for hours. To stay within your budget, try finding tickets at the Comedy Stop at the Sahara, which start as low as $20. Many comedians have began their careers at the Comedy Stop, so be one of the first to witness an up and coming comedian get their footing!

Music
Celine Dion, Cher, Garth Brooks, Donnie and Marie and Barry Manilow are just a few of the amazing musical talents being featured in Las Vegas. If you are on a budget, check out a bar or lounge offering live music at no cost. When finding great music, your concierge can be your best friends. Shows change daily, and you can often get a great discount if you plan ahead.

Lounges and Dancing
Put your sexiest outfit on and hit the town. The lounges and bars in Las Vegas give those of Paris and New York a run for their money. Rain in the Desert at the Palms is a 28,000 square foot club with plenty of room to dance and play. For a more exclusive and quiet evening, hang out until early morning at Caramel Bar and Lounge in the Bellagio or the bar Tryst in the Wynn. The best way to save money in an expensive lounge in Las Vegas is to forgo purchasing a table. Grab a drink at the bar and hang out with your friends where there is standing room available. If ritzy isn't your style, take a few steps east of the strip and visit Double Down, a bar known for its hipster style and unique drinks.
