Getting There
Edit ThisDon Muang Airport
Edit ThisDon Muang International Airport is located north of the city. A departure tax of 500 Baht is levied on all international
departures.
International and Domestic flights are now from Suvarnabhumi airport, Bangkoks new airport. Unlike the old airport there is no rail link to getting into Bangkok and that means taking a bus or taxi. Taxis into central Bangkok will cost about 300 baht + the freeway tolls (50 baht) so if two or more of you are sharing its probably the best option. For those wanting to save a few baht or if are travelling to Pattaya or further, more..

where you can also use the BTS (skytrain) to get a round.
