São Paulo hosts the largest Gay Parade in the world; the 2006 edition had more than 2,000,000 attendants.
Besides the Parade itself, there are several events regarding GLS rights.

In 2007, the Parade will be on June 10th.

F1 Grand Prix of Interlagos

Achiropita Festival (Festa da Achiropita)

Traditional Itallian festival organized by the local church "Paroquia de Nossa Senhora da Achiropita". Admission is free. The festival is composed by stands selling Italian food, sweets, snacks and crafts along two streets in the Bixiga (a traditional Italian neighborhood) usually in August.

International Convention of RPG

Every year, the "Devir Livraria" (Bookshop Devir) promotes the biggest RPG (Role Playing Game) event in the country, usually taking place in parks or big convention spaces. The event consists of stands of RPG editors (International and Brazilian), fan clubs and Comics. A huge space is reserved for playing table RPG, lkjlive action role playing (LARP) and card games. A lot of seminars about RPG, fantasy and science-fiction related themes are given. There are also lots of stands with drink and food.
