Comfortable, clean, good location, casual hosts, good company. The house is expanding, but has a limited number of rooms. Talkeetna is a popular base camp for Denali climbers. Reservations are advised. Call ahead, if no answer, leave a message and check the white board in the entryway when you arrive. If a room has been reserved for you, it will be listed there. Full kitchen. Free internet. VCR. Book exchange. Bicycle rentals. BBQ grill in the back yard. Limited on-site parking. No lock-out time or curfew. Lockers/secure storage.

Eye of Denali Inn is a self catering B&B on the edge of Talkeetna. Located by the banks of the Susitna River, it has an fully equipped apartment downstairs (The Denali Suite) which has a double bedroom and a sofa bed; it has its own entrance so is quite private. Upstairs in the main part of the house is three bedrooms - the Talkeetna Suite (with bath), Susitna and Chulitna Rooms (share bath) - which can be booked separately, and shared kitchen and living space. A bed and breakfast located on a ridge overlooking the whole Alaska range (Foraker, Hunter and Denali). Three rooms each with a private bath, and two with a shared bath. Great view, quiet wooded area, clean and comfortable home setting, full and continental breakfasts, smoke-free, 10 minutes from downtown Talkeetna, reasonable rates.
