Located in the newly pedestrian Trafalgar Square, The National Gallery houses one of the world’s greatest collections of Western European paintings. The National Gallery's permanent collection consists of Western European paintings from 1250-1900. On any given day, visitors will find more than 2,100 paintings on display making The National Gallery one of the largest and richest art galleries in the world.
