Eating Out in Toronto
Edit ThisNowhere is Toronto's multicultural flair better exhibited than in its choice of cuisines. From Tibetan to Togolese, Toronto has an absolutely mind-boggling choice of restaurants that will fit any budget. You can easily navigate your way to some of the top restaurants in Toronto by sticking to major tourist areas such as King West and College Street, or just as easily find hidden gems in any of the city's neighborhoods.
Enjoy!

Zelda's
Edit ThisKind of kitschy, this interesting bar located on Church Street in the "gay village" of Toronto has some of the most interesting theme nights each weekend during the summer.
One of the visits was a "Gilligans' Island" night in which all of the wait staff dressed up as different characters from Gilligan's Island.
The wait staff may use a little tongue-in-cheek humor during your order, but are extremely attentive to every need a customer has.
There is a website for their events and menu. Visit www.zeldas.ca for information.

Terroni
Edit ThisIf you need to know a truly great pizza-pasta restaurant in Toronto, this is it. There was a queue outside on a Friday night but it moved fast and I soon got a seat at the bar, where I ate. Nice atmosphere, good service, excellent pizza with really fresh tomato sauce on it and a selection of italian wines.
It's in the trendy Queen West area, get a streetcar from Queens subway to Bathurst and Queens and then walk a little further.
