Curitiba Travel Guide

Curitiba is the capital of the Parana State and it is about 400 km away from Sao Paulo. It is a well planned and modern city with a number of attractions, such as it's famous parks. There is a railway line, first in Brazil going from Curitiba to Paranagua thorugh the mountains. The journey itself is breathtaking.

The South of Brazil has a more European culture and the people are wonderful. Although it is not a costal town, Curitiba is very close to beautiful beach areas, like San Francisco towards east, and Porto Bello and Florianopolis to the South.
