Shirley Samantha’s Bed & Breakfast is the best in Ottawa. You will feel like you are staying with your family. Friendly owners Cynthia and Paul go out of their way to accommodate you. Rooms are quaint and cozy and have private bathrooms which are kept very clean. Snacks are always available; there is a refrigerator with water, soft drinks and 2 kinds of home made cookies. Breakfast is modest but tasty. Shirley Samantha’s Bed & Breakfast is in a safe neighborhood and very close to a public bus stop.
Another wonderful bed and breakfast at a budget price is Radclyffe House Bed & Breakfast. Clean rooms with private bathrooms are decorated in country comfortable. Conveniently located you are close to public transportation and you can take a ten minute walk to Parliament Hill and War museum. The suites here have a fully equipped kitchenette and some have skylights. The common area has a sofa, cable TV and a DVD player with a decent selection of movies.
Best Value in Downtown Ottawa
For the convenience of being downtown you can't beat the Business Inn. You can walk to more than 5 major attractions including, Byward Market and the National Gallery of Canada. There is also a public bus stop nearby. For fast food McDonalds and Pizza Pizza is also a short walk. Spacious rooms are clean in this friendly and well run hotel. The building was an apartment complex so each room is its own suite. The kitchenette and living room make the Business Inn the perfect extended stay.
