Shopping

One of the coolest things to do in the Tulsa area is to go to the flea markets.  Travelers from all over stop at the Great American Flea Market, but there are a couple of other flea markets as well.  Bargain hunters will want to check out some of the numerous thrift stores in town.  And antiques and collectibles stores are all over the place.  Tulsa has some great malls, too.

Tulsa Flea Market

Edit This

Tulsa Flea Market is held each Saturday 8 a.m.-5 p.m. in Exchange Buildings I and II at Expo Square.  There is no flea market from the middle of September to the middle of October due to the Tulsa State Fair.

Tulsa Flea Market is without doubt one of the finest flea markets for antiques and collectibles anywhere.  Hundreds of dealers bring in thier finest items to sell in the flea market on Saturdays.  Everything from furniture to glassware can be found there.  Those who get there early might be able to buy some Amish bakery more..

Great American Flea Market

Edit This

With over 500 dealers, Great American Flea Market is one of the largest indoor flea markets in the midwest.  It is conveniently located south of I-244 on Admiral Place near the Mingo traffic circle.  There are also dealers in the parking lot, but the big draw is shopping in year-round air conditioned comfort inside.
